Build on your lot · Nashville, Tennessee

Your land already knows what it wants to be.

Bring us the lot — wooded, sloped, or holding a house past its prime — and we’ll design and build the home it was waiting for. One team, from the first walk of the land to the keys.

The lot is the first design decision.

01

Your land, your equity

The lot you already own is the head start. We design to its light, its grade, and its trees — not to a floor plan looking for an address.

02

Design by Native

Our in-house design studio draws the home around your real life. Plans and interiors resolve together, early — before the first permit is filed.

03

One team, lot to keys

One project manager, one site, your updates. The people who drew the plans are the people who answer for the build.

Before we draw anything

We start by walking the land.

Where the morning light lands. How the grade falls toward the tree line. What the street expects, and what the setbacks allow. An hour on the lot with you tells us more than a survey ever will — and it’s where the design actually begins.

The standard holds

Finished like custom — because it is.

A home we build on your land gets the same hand as the homes in our portfolio — the travertine, the white oak, the light at five o’clock. Your lot doesn’t get a lesser version of a May home. It gets the reason we do this.

03Straight answers

What landowners ask us.

Can you build on a sloped or wooded lot?

Usually, yes — and often those are the best lots. Grade and trees shape the design rather than fight it: walk-out lower levels, framed views, a drive that arrives the way it should. We walk the land before we draw anything, so you'll know what the site really allows before you commit.

What if there's an existing house on the property?

A teardown is a normal start for us. We handle the demolition as part of the project, and the existing house often tells us useful things — where the light lands, what the street expects, why the old floor plan didn't work.

I haven't found land yet — can you still help?

Yes. We acquire lots across Nashville’s established neighborhoods and can pair you with one, or evaluate a lot you’re considering before you go under contract. Tell us where you want to be and we’ll tell you what we know about it.
